Alex Lago, Tennis Coach:
Alex Cyrille Lago is a professional tennis player and coach from Côte d’Ivoire. He began playing tennis at age five and trained for eight years at a high-performance center in Casablanca, Morocco. As a junior, he reached Top 300 in the ITF rankings and achieved a UTR of 13. He proudly represented Côte d’Ivoire in Davis Cup competition and won multiple international championships.
Alex continued his academic and athletic career in the United States, competing at Campbellsville University and Bethel University. With over five years of coaching experience, he has served as Head Coach at Ze Tennis Academy in California and has coached at Sutton East Tennis Club, Yorkville Tennis Club, and Cary Leeds Tennis Center in New York. He is committed to developing high-performance athletes through discipline, technical excellence, and mental strength.

Steve Gershman, Tennis Coach:
Steve coached the boys and girls tennis teams at Meyer Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida. Steve is a lifelong tennis player and is Professional Tennis Registry certified.
Coach Steve’s philosophy is simple. Children play sports to have fun and to be with friends. His games and drills are organized to improve skills and introduce small disciplines, always encouraging, never criticizing. Games can be competitive, but the focus is not on winning, but on improving the development of each child. The result is to leave them feeling at the end of each session with the desire to come back for more.
