Lost and Found Policy
1. Poplar Heights is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
2. Members are encouraged to label personal belongings. Leaving personal items unattended is discouraged.
3. All items remaining at the end of each day will be collected. Collected items will be placed in the designated Lost & Found area.
4. Lost & Found items will be organized as follows:
– General Items (e.g., towels, clothing, goggles, water bottles, exercise equipment, pool toys) will be placed in designated bins or racks in a visible area.
– Valuables (e.g., phones, wallets, keys, jewelry) will be secured by staff in the office or front desk area and must be claimed through staff.
5. Lost & Found items may be claimed during normal operating hours. For valuables secured with the staff, members must provide a reasonable description of the item to claim it. Staff may require additional verification for valuable items.
6. General items in the Lost and Found area will be cleared out on the first day of each month. An electronic announcement will be sent three calendar days in advance. Unclaimed items may be donated, discarded, or otherwise disposed of at the Association’s discretion. Valuables may be held longer as determined by management.
7. Any questions regarding Lost & Found items or this Policy should be directed to the pool manager.
