Private Parties
Shareholder and Renter Members of PHRA are permitted to host private parties at the pool, subject to conditions.
- Reservations and advance approval are required for private parties with 5 or more non-member guests. This ensures that we have adequate staffing during the party.
- Private parties are subject to a maximum of 25 people.
o Exceptions may be made during low usage times as determined by the Board. Please email the [email protected] for further information or to request an exception. - We will not be able to accommodate some proposed parties if the Club determines that the timing or size of the party will be disruptive to regular pool operations.
o For example, we are unlikely to be able to accommodate parties on most Friday evenings during June and July, weekend peak times, Holidays, or during PHRA-sponsored events. - There must be at least one adult supervisor for every five children under the age of eight during a party.
- While space cannot be reserved for parties, parties are encouraged to set up on the picnic tables in the grassy area if available.
o Parties should not use more than two tables under the pavilion area to ensure member usage of these areas is not impacted.
o The pool has long tables that may be requested in advance when scheduling the party. These can be set up in the grassy areas. - For all private parties, Pool Management will charge a fee of $25 per hour.

o Party requests must be submitted 5 days in advance of the party date.
o The Board will respond within 48 hours.
o Each non-member guest requires a guest pass.
o Upon approval, you can log into your account to purchase guest passes and pay the party fee, or you can pay in person at the front desk at the time of the party.
